This instrument belongs to the collection of member Markus Pleyer, Berlin. The ammunition counter for the LMG 08/15 by the company of Wilhelm Morell has a diameter of 65mm, while the depth is 47mm. The face is made from blank copper and is devided in 10 seperate fields in the opposite way as an clock is. The companies name "Wilhelm Morell, Leipzig" is engraved in the lover portion of the face. On the Back of the instrument the serial Number "2201" is stamped into the metal of the housing. According to the previous owner this item was originally collected as a souveneer by an Amarican veteran.
